Our Chairman, a CPA, CA and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) has held the position of COO of TWC Corporation (TSE – TWC), which owned Tri-Line Expressways until sold. After the sale he joined the Board of Directors of TWC. In the past he has held the position of CFO of Kingsway-Motorways, the largest Canadian transportation organization of its time; President of Consolidated Fastfrate and as a Senior Executive of Acklands Limited, a $1 Billion industrial and automotive distribution operations, having M&A and operational responsibilities. He is also the Past president of the Halton-Peel Chartered Accountants Association.
Our staff have extensive experience in Traffic Management issues in Canada and the USA and have comprehensive knowledge of rate structures on both sides of the border. We are fully experienced with customs clearance requirements and Government regulations related to Customs Bonding. We know that moving “In-bond shipments” is costly and NTS has helped clients limit the incidence of these shipments, thereby reducing this needless expense.
We communicate extensively electronically between our clients and their carriers. We are able to receive and transmit all data to clients and carriers. We work with clients to improve electronic communication between all stakeholders, taking advantage of all cost reduction opportunities.
